Deanna Devine-Silvestre specializes in black and white photography of maternity, newborn infants, babies, children, families, relationships, and engagement photography. She is a location photographer based in the Dallas, Plano, Richardson, Allen, Murphy, Frisco, McKinney, Rowlett, Rockwall, Park Cities, University Park, Highland Park, TX area. She is also available for travel to Austin, Texas. Deanna is a contributing photographer to Dallas Child Magazine and BabyDallas Magazine.

Award-winning photographer Deanna Devine-Silvestre first discovered her passion for photography when her son, now 10, was an infant. She picked up her first film SLR, a Pentax, and began taking photography classes at the local community college, printing her own work in the school darkroom. Her professor immediately noted her ability to capture emotions and feelings, specifically relating to children. Little did she know at that time, her abilities would propel her into such a wonderful, fulfilling career. Years later, after much prayer and thought, Deanna took the "plunge"; quitting her job as a preschool director to pursue children's photography full-time, and Dallas took notice! She immediately began working with Dallas Child, Fort Worth Child, BabyDallas, and Dallas Teen, shooting their magazine covers and features (click here to view covers). She has also worked with Stephanie Anne, Trees of the Forest, Greater Dallas Christian Life Magazine, many other commercial clients, local celebrities and wonderful families across the DFW metroplex and the nation.

Deanna's clients choose her because of her sensitivity to children and their needs, her flexibility, her unique style and passion for her work, and her willingness to go to the ends of the earth for them. She achieves her signature style by using only natural light and working exclusively on location.

Deanna has three children of her own, and when she's not shooting, you can find her watching indie flicks, reading books on her couch, cheering on the sidelines of her kids' sports games, or trying new foods and cuisines with friends.
